Democratic presidential candidate Pete Buttigieg slams the “unbelievable hypocrisy” of evangelical voters supporting Donald Trump even though he was caught writing hush money checks to an adult film actress and is a serial liar.
During an appearance on MSNBC’s Meet the Press, the South Bend mayor said, “It’s something that really frustrates me because the hypocrisy is unbelievable.” Trump “acts in a way that is not consistent with anything that I hear in the Scripture or in church,” he continued.
“Even on the version of Christianity you hear from the religious right, which is about sexual ethics, I cannot believe the person who was caught writing hush money checks to an adult film actress is somebody they should be lifting up to lead this nation,” Buttigieg said.
Trump needs to learn about “humbling yourself before others” and not just engaging in “chest, thumping me-ism,” he added.

How we long for the days, and look forward to a day very soon, when we have fluency and intellect back at the helm of our nation. Pray we can regain the respect and admiration that’s been lost. Pray the children they’ve put in cages forgive us.

So true what do Evangelicals love about a POTUS who brags about his wealth, ability to grab women’s genitalia, cheat on his pregnant wife with strippers, hatred of people of any color other than white, his admiration of dictators who engage in atrocities toward their own citizens

Baptized Christian here, amazed & shamed by the Christian extremists trying to force their beliefs onto the country & overturn our constitutional rights.
