Donald Trump falsely claims no-one told him that his former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn was compromised as he melts down over the bombshell revelation in court filings.

Trump tweeted: “It now seems the General Flynn was under investigation long before was common knowledge. It would have been impossible for me to know this but, if that was the case, and with me being one of two people who would become president, why was I not told so that I could make a change?”

Former President Barack Obama warned Trump against hiring Flynn, who he fired. Did Trump listen? No.

Then former acting attorney general Sally Yates personally went to the White House and told Don McGahn Flynn may have been compromised by the Russians. What did Trump do? He fired Sally Yates instead.
