Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez shames Ivanka Trump over a viral video of her trying to get into a conversation at the G-20 Summit between Angela Merkel, Theresa May, Christine Lagarde, Justin Trudeau and Emmanuel Macron.
AOC tweeted: “It may be shocking to some, but being someone’s daughter actually isn’t a career qualification. It hurts our diplomatic standing when the President phones it in & the world moves on. The US needs our President working the G20. Bringing a qualified diplomat couldn’t hurt either.”
Ocasio-Cortez was responding to the video, which was released by the French presidential palace, showing Ivanka trying to get into a conversation between three of the most powerful women in the world, along with Canadian PM Trudeau and French President Macron. The way IMF chief Christine Lagarde briefly looked at her was like, “who is this person?” She clearly did not belong in that circle, much less to be giving her two cents.
Ivanka Trump appears to be trying to get involved in a talk among Macron, May, Trudeau and Lagarde (IMF head).

The reaction on Twitter is hilarious:

Ivanka's effort to mingle with world leaders was embarrassing. So was Trump's reality-show moment with Kim. But both were far worse than just foolish. Ivanka's presence was an insult to those leaders & degraded the US. Kim visit rewarded a murderer, gaining nothing for the US.

Two years ago and nothing has changed.
Ivanka Trump is an international embarrassment.
