Rev. Al Sharpton brilliantly claps back at Donald Trump’s Twitter attacks by posting a photograph of  “Trump at NAN Convention 2006 telling James Brown and Jesse Jackson why he respects my work.”

Trump tweeted:  “Al Sharpton would always ask me to go to his events. He would say, “it’s a personal favor to me.” Seldom, but sometimes, I would go. It was fine. He came to my office in T.T. during the presidential campaign to apologize for the way he was talking about me. Just a conman at work!”

Sharpton clapped back:  “Trump at NAN Convention 2006 telling James Brown and Jesse Jackson why he respects my work. Different tune now.”

Sharpton wrote in a second tweet: “Trump says I’m a troublemaker & con man. I do make trouble for bigots. If he really thought I was a con man he would want me in his cabinet.”

Trump, who has declared corporate bankruptcy multiple times and had to pay back millions for his Trump University scam, has the nerve to call someone else a con man. It takes one to know one.

This latest torrent of racist tweets, which started with an attack on Elijah Cummings and Baltimore on Saturday, was triggered by a segment on Fox News and by the expected subpoenas against Baltimore slumlord Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump for their work emails. You see, they used private emails accounts to conduct government work. Remember the freakout from Republicans over Hillary Clinton’s use of a private email server?
