Billionaire Tom Steyer announces presidential bid and it’s not going over well. We don’t need another rich old white guy in the race. He’s getting ratioed on Twitter.
Steyer announced his 2020 bid on Twitter: “It’s true. I am running for president.”

“There’s a breakdown in Washington DC, and I don’t mean just Donald Trump. I’m talking about corporate money and our broken political system,” Steyer tweeted.
“Our country has been corrupted––openly––while politicians put corporate profits over the needs of their constituents, and focus on getting re-elected over doing what’s right,” he continued.
Reaction on Twitter:
Jesus Christ. We are all for democracy and not coronating anyone but these richity-rich dudes are too much. #TomSteyer

Dude…seriously…we all agree with everything you said, and appreciate everything you have been doing to get the message out. But we DO NOT need another candidate. We have plenty of qualified people running. Just support the Dem nominee and help us get back the Senate.

Here for the ratio. And you deserve it.
Spend a quarter of what you’ll spend on yourself – just *$25 million* – and change state house races all over the country.

You aren’t the answer. You’re a rich white male so you naturally assume you are, but you aren’t. You’re just making it worse.

You’re going to ratfuck us aren’t you?

And everyone is pissed off at you for it.

If you cared beyond stunts;
Alternative ways YOU could help:
Pay off the felons' poll taxes in FL to restore their voting rights, likely without denting your cash.
Invest in TX Dems grassroots.
Invest in swing state Dem infrastructure.
Actually blame McConnell, not Pelosi.
