Donald Trump goes racist over hurricane victims from Bahamas seeking refuge in the U.S., saying gang members and drug dealers could be among them.
Trump launched his presidential campaign in 2015 by calling undocumented immigrants coming from Mexico rapists, criminals and drug dealers.
“We have to be very careful. Everybody needs totally proper documentation. Because look, the Bahamas has some tremendous problems with people going to the Bahamas who weren’t supposed to be there,” Trump told reporters on the South Lawn at the White House.
Trump went on to suggest that gang members or drug dealers could be among those seeking refuge in the U.S. after the devastation from Dorian.
“I don’t want to allow people that weren’t supposed to be in the Bahamas to come into the United States, including some very bad people and some very bad gang members, and some very, very bad drug dealers,” Trump continued. Source: The Hill
Trump is probably talking about Haitians who fled to the Bahamas after the earthquake in Haiti. He previously called Haiti a “shithole country.” We know what this is all about….these are not blue-eyed, blonde-hair people from Norway seeking refuge in the U.S. He called Muslims “terrorists” with his travel ban.
