The man with the “great and unmatched wisdom,” Donald Trump, told reporters that the Kurds “didn’t help us in the Second World War,” as he tries to justify selling them out to Turkey, where he has business interests.
During a press spray on Wednesday, Trump told reporters: “They didn’t help us in the Second World War, they didn’t help us with Normandy,” journalist Daniel Dale reports.
Normandy? The global embarrassment continues as we are in the midst of a constitutional crisis.
Trump said the Kurds are only interested in fighting for “their land.” “With all of that being said, we like the Kurds,” he added.
He was also asked if he wasn’t concerned about the release of ISIS fighters. “They are going to be escaping to Europe. That’s where they want to go, back to their homes,” Trump responded.

And where were the Trumps in WW2? Was Fred Trump at that 1939 rally in Madison Square Garden? Who knows?
