MIDLAND, TexasKWTX)- The Texas Department of Public Safety issued an amber warning late Tuesday for Darla Steve, an 11-month-old girl who was reportedly abducted in the Midland and is believed to be in “serious or imminent danger.”
The girl was last seen in the 2700 block of Southwest Street around 12:30 p.m. Jan. 16, DPS said.
The suspect in the kidnapping is 29-year-old Zach Smith, who reportedly weighs around 170 pounds, is about 5 feet 6 inches tall, has brown eyes and brown hair.
Smith reportedly drives a 2022 Dodge Ram 3500 with Texas license plate SDD9435.
