Austin (KXAN) – If you’re looking for a new car and you’re choosing between a traditional gas-powered car, a hybrid, or maybe an electric car, but you have questions. General Motors has a new tool that lets you ask an electric vehicle expert a question.
EV Live experts will be able to give you unbiased answers to help you decide if an electric car is right for you. Some of the most common questions are about charging an electric vehicle.
Hoss Hassani, Vice President of Electric Vehicle Ecosystem at General Motors, said: “Battery related questions are huge on people’s minds: how long does a battery last, how much does it cost to replace, if I need to replace it, do I need to replace it, can I should it be recycled at the end of its service life?”
Hassani said other common questions they get are about battery range: “We also get questions about range. How far can a car take me? “We know that 300 miles is a really important threshold and that’s why all the cars we are introducing this year are over 300 miles and some are over 400 miles.”
If you’re looking for an electric vehicle to suit your lifestyle, you can now find electric vehicles in all sizes. There are electric trucks, crossovers, sedans and more.
