Austin-based artist Dayglow to perform on The Tonight Show Friday

Austin (KXAN) – Dayglow, a 23-year-old alternative indie artist from Austin, will take the stage on The Tonight Show later this week.

He announced this on Monday on Instagram.

“Can’t believe I’m playing live on @fallontonight this Friday Tune in to NBC at 11:35 AM ET to watch me play music professionally and commercially!!!!! YES!!!!!” the message said.

Dayglow, whose real name is Sloan Struble, hails from Fort Worth but has moved to Austin and calls it his hometown, according to a November post announcing a “hometown show” at Stubb’s.

Dayglow’s first album Fuzzybrain was released in 2018 and has grown in popularity ever since. He currently has over 5 million monthly listeners on Spotify, has performed at the Austin City Limits Music Festival, and has been featured on Austin City Limits Radio.
