Central Texas man accused of beating girlfriend with hammer

WEST, TexasKWTX)- Police on Tuesday, January 10, arrested Dillan Lambright after the man’s girlfriend accused him of beating her with a hammer.

At approximately 5:00 a.m., police and West EMS arrived at the 200 block of George Katzir Road to investigate reports of a woman who had visible injuries.

“At first, the injured woman, who was identified as Candus Scott, was reluctant to explain her injuries,” police said. location.”

The EMS transported the victim to the emergency room at Baylor Scott & White Hillcrest. According to police, the woman received a lacerated head wound and a broken left arm.

Investigators met Scott at the hospital and the woman said her boyfriend, whom she identified as Lambright, beat her with a hammer after they had an argument.

“RS. Scott didn’t have a phone to call for help, but she was able to leave the house,” police said.

Scott reportedly approached George Katzir’s 200 Block to seek medical attention.

A statement of probable cause was filed with Precinct 3 Magistrate Judge Pareya and a warrant was issued to charge Dillan Lambright with a felony.

Officers from the Western Police Department arrested Lambright at the 100th block of South Williams Drive on Wednesday, January 11, without incident.

Lambright is being held at McLennan County Jail, where he is awaiting arraignment on charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, which is a felony in the second degree.
