Nacogdoches local resident Mike Woody worked as a forester, carpenter and cabinetmaker. With such obvious woodworking experience, one would think his retirement hobbies would follow suit. Not certainly in that way. He now studies the towering pines that surround his makeshift cabin and creates impressive, intricate metal sculptures that he sells online by twisting trunks and leaves from simple fence wire.
