Editor’s note: The Tyler Morning Telegraph looks back at the five most viewed photo galleries of the year at tylerpaper.com. The most viewed gallery was this collection from the outbreak of severe weather..
The storm on Tuesday evening caused significant damage to the city of Tyler. According to the city, the most damage was in downtown, as well as the hospital district, downtown, Azalea neighborhood, Old Jacksonville Highway, and Old Bullard Road neighborhood.
At least 90 trees or large branches were reported to have fallen throughout the city, half of which fell on power lines. For some residents, trees fell into their homes or onto their cars, causing damage.
This collective photo gallery features photographs taken by the staff of Tyler Morning Telegraph, our media partners on CBS19, Kenny Rigsby and others, who provided the newspaper with free photos.
