GreenLab closes $5.2 million seed round

 

Biotech startup Greens Protein Manufacturing platform is transforming a corn field into the factory of the future.

JONESBOROW, AR, Jan. 24, 2023 /PRNewswire/ — GreenLab, Inc. announces the closing of a seed funding round of $5,268,944.44. A group of investors from Northeast Arkansas represent members of the agricultural industry who understand the critical role of sustainability and the value of protein optimization. The biotech startup’s patented platform is a literal greening of an industry inside a grain of corn, exponentially multiplied by acres of cornfields.

“The GreenLab Seed Round is being led by investors who understand real sustainability through their experience in agriculture as farmers, agronomists and owners of land, insurance and seed businesses,” said Kelly Phipps, current COO and Chairman of the Board of Directors of GreenLab.
