Greenville police looking for information about shooting

Greenville police continued to investigate a December 29 shooting that left one person injured.

According to a press release, officers were sent at approximately 7:30 p.m. on December 29 to Templeton’s 3400 block in connection with the shooting.

Upon arrival, officers learned that a passenger in a white four-door car had fired on a residential building at the site. As a result, one person who was in the house was injured and taken to the hospital.

The victim’s condition was not released on Friday, and the department said no further information about the shooting would be forthcoming due to an ongoing investigation.
