HCSO: Possible domestic dispute leads to SWAT standoff in northern Harris County

HARRIS COUNTY, TX – A man barricaded himself in his house in northern Harris County after allegedly shot his wifeaccording to Sheriff Ed Gonzalez.

The Sheriff tweeted about a SWAT standoff taking place on Hill Road near Hardy Tall Road shortly before 5am.

Details are limited at the moment, but Gonzalez said the man barricaded himself after the shooting. There were no reports of injuries, and the woman and three children were safely released. Gonzalez said the man was staying at the house.
