Hotel sale was Sebastian County’s biggest real estate deal in December

 

The $2.45 million sale of the Rodeway Hotel at 2123 Burnham Road was the largest real estate deal in Sebastian County in December, according to information from the office of Sebastian County appraiser Zack Johnson.

The hotel, located next to a McDonald’s restaurant on Rogers Avenue off Interstate 540, was sold by Sunny Management LLC and Magan Hotels to Sunshine Hotel LLC. Magan is based in Van Buren and is owned by Pinakin Patel. The Sunshine Hotel is located in Fort Smith and is owned by Heiren Patel.

The total value of the 10 largest deals in December was $6.995 million.

The $20.387 million sale of the new Fort Smith Veterans Affairs clinic and associated property was Sebastian County’s largest real estate deal in 2022. 8. The 49,500-square-foot VA Clinic, located at 5700 Phoenix Avenue, was completed in early 2021 with a building permit valued at $15.7 million.
