DALLAS (KDAF) — Well, there isn’t much to say about the Houston Texans’ 2022-23 NFL season other than that it will hopefully be better next year. However, the H-Town resident has become a big winner himself thanks to the lottery.
The Texas Lottery reports that a Houston resident won a $1 million prize in the Mega Millions lottery game: “A Houston resident received a second level Mega Millions® prize of $1,000,002 for the January 13 draw.”
This ticket was purchased at the Sunrise Super Stop on Richmond Avenue in the city of Houston; the big winner chose to remain anonymous. The lottery said that this Quick Pick ticket matched all five winning numbers, but not the Mega Ball.
“In Mega Millions, you have to choose five numbers from a field of 70 and one Mega Ball number from a second field of 25 numbers. To win the Mega Millions jackpot, players must match all six numbers drawn, including the Mega Ball.
