HPD: 2 injured in the leg in southwest Houston

HOUSTON (KIAH) — Two people are recovering Tuesday morning after a shooting in southwest Houston.

It happened just after midnight in the 8500th quarter of Bissonnet.

Police say that when the crews arrived, both victims, who may have been homeless, were shot in the legs. Both were taken by ambulance, the injuries are incompatible with life.

Two of the victims are reported to be living in a tent in the area and heard gunshots and both were shot in the legs.

Police said they were unable to determine who fired the shots and currently have no information on the suspects.
