LAS VEGAS – Junior Achievement of Southern Nevada is proud to announce that CJ Neff has joined its Board of Directors. Volunteering and charity have been an integral part of his life for over 20 years, and he continues to inject these values ​​back into his community.

As a volunteer for a non-profit financial literacy organization, Neff’s experience and passion for math, planning, and helping students is evident, leading to him being named Local Chapter Volunteer of the Year in 2022.

“When I heard about Junior Achievement, I was blown away that such an organization exists, and I was incredibly impressed with the JA curriculum that I have been teaching in schools for the past year,” Neff said. “By joining the council, I’m delighted to be more involved in helping Junior Achievement achieve its mission of financial education, workforce development, and entrepreneurship education for local K-12 youth.”

As a Financial Advisor at Hightower, he is responsible for fulfilling client needs in financial planning and investment management, new client acquisition and development, and firm-wide marketing initiatives. In addition, he was a co-chair ambassador for the Vegas Young Professionals and will become chairman of the organization this year.

As a volunteer, he has demonstrated his commitment to our organization and desire to inspire and help educate the next generation of financial literacy, and he will bring that enthusiasm and business acumen as we enter 2023,” said Michelle Jackson, CEO and President of Junior Achievement of Southern Nevada.

Born in Baltimore, Neff has spent much of his professional career in San Francisco working in software engineering, where he rose through the ranks. In 2016, he moved to Las Vegas where he decided to change careers to become a financial advisor, allowing him to become more passionate about helping clients organize and streamline their financial lives in pursuit of their dreams. He received a bachelor’s degree in mathematics and French from Hamilton College in Clinton, New York, from which he graduated summa cum laude.
