Keith Hofmann is running for Mayor of Brenham

Keith Hofmann has put his name on the list of candidates for mayor of Brenham in 2023.

Hofmann sent out a press release last week outlining his qualifications and expectations for the job.

“Mr. Hofmann has over 30 years of experience in finance, operations and project management. His leadership and skill set has come from positions such as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Wells Fargo Bank, Senior Account Manager in IBM Global Solutions, as well as owning our own oil and gas company,” Hofmann said.

“Mr. Hofmann currently owns GekkoRim LLC, which was founded on the core principles of providing outstanding advisory services such as acquisition and financial support to clients in need. He received his MBA from Tulane University and is a US military veteran with the US Marine Corps. Mr. Hofmann has been married to his best friend Rebecca for 27 years and has two wonderful children, Margaret and George. He was a deacon at his church in Houston and is now a member of the Cowboy Church in Brenham. and his wife love being members of the Brenham Pickleball, caring for their animals, and being a support member of their local VFW. Mr. Hofmann was on the advisory board of Pathways for Little Feet, an organization that has provided financial assistance to those who wish to adopt children for the past 15 years. years old. He truly loves the people of Brenham and would be honored to be your next mayor,” Hofmann said.

Hofmann moved to Branham two years ago with his wife, Rebecca. Two years is a pretty short time to live somewhere and decide to run for mayor. “The more I get to know people, the more it won’t matter,” Hofmann said.

His goals as mayor will be to manage growth in Brenham. “At Brenham, the challenge is to align infrastructure growth with a growing economy,” Hofmann said.

The election is due in May and Branham now has two candidates in the race.
