DALLAS (AP) _ Kimberly-Clark Corp. (KMB) on Wednesday reported fourth-quarter earnings of $507 million.
The Dallas-based company said its net income was $1.50 per share. Earnings adjusted for non-recurring items were $1.54 per share.
The results beat Wall Street’s expectations. Five analysts polled by Zacks Investment Research averaged earnings of $1.51 per share.
The maker of consumer products such as Huggies diapers and Kleenex wipes reported $4.96 billion in revenue for the period, in line with Street’s forecasts.
For the year, the company reported earnings of $1.93 billion, or $5.72 per share. Revenue was $20.18 billion.
