LORENA, TexasKWTX)- Police in Loren are reminding motorists to slow down after a driver was pulled over for speeding at 118 mph on I-35 on Tuesday, Jan. 10.
“The safety of motorists and residents of Lorena deserve and expect to travel safely without worrying about unnecessary and irresponsible driver behavior,” the police said in a Facebook post.
“This is one example of unnecessary speed that can endanger the lives of anyone driving on public roads.”
Police are urging drivers to take their time and be alert to the vehicles around you.
According to police, the driver accelerated to 118 miles per hour and received a ticket.
