NORTH LAS VEGAS, Nevada (KLAS) — A man accused of threatening to shoot a woman he allegedly held against her will later fought cops over his gun in a laundry room, 8 News Now investigators learned.

According to the documents, Darryl Dickerson faces kidnapping, coercion, assault and other charges.

The documents say North Las Vegas police responded to a call from a man with a gun on Saturday night. The scene of the incident was near Lake Mead Boulevard and Wilkinson Way.

Then one person called the police and said that Dickerson had threatened her with a gun. Dickerson then left the house, taking a gun and a PlayStation with him, the documents say.

According to them, the officer noticed Dickerson walking in the area. The officers yelled at Dickerson to stop, but he refused.

Dickerson then entered the laundromat with a gun, police said. The officer and Dickerson then wrestled for the gun when Dickerson fought back.

In the end, the officer managed to retrieve the gun and handcuffed Dickerson.

The man who alerted police later told investigators that she threw the pot out the window to alert neighbors that she needed help, the documents said.

The judge set Dickerson’s bail at $20,000. The location and name of the laundry were not reported. No harm done.
