SAN ANTONIO One man is hospitalized in critical condition after an altercation at a Whataburger restaurant led to a chase and crash in the south side of the city, according to San Antonio police.
At around 4:45 p.m. Wednesday, SAPD responded to two reports, one about a shooting at Whataburger and one about an accident at the intersection of SW Loop 410 and Somerset Road.
Police said the two vehicles were chasing each other after an argument at a fast food restaurant.
During the chase, one car was hit. The man, aged between 30 and 50, was taken to hospital in critical condition with a head injury, police said.
In addition, police say the man may not have been wearing a seat belt.
SAPD said they were not sure if they were involved as the vehicle did not match the description given by witnesses to the shooting.
This is an ongoing investigation.
