HOUSTON (KIAH) — One person died in a shooting in Houston early Saturday morning.
Officers were called to the intersection of Sandpiper Drive and Chatham Island Lane around 3 a.m. in connection with a report of a shooting, according to Houston police.
Local residents said that at that time they heard shots. Looking outside their homes, they said they saw a man lying in the street.
Arriving police officers found the man and pronounced him dead at the scene.
Houston police are investigating the shooting. At the moment there is no other information.
