Mild weather on the way

It will be another cold night in North Texas with low temperatures in the 30s. There will be a slight frost in some places, but no need to drip from the faucet.

The weekend will be dry with a warming trend. Highs will be around 60 on Saturday and around 70 on Sunday. Southerly winds will pick up over the weekend, so fire risk will remain high west of the I-35 corridor.

Next week will be milder than usual with highs in the 60s and 70s. Showers and thunderstorms possible on Wednesday.
