Moody man involved in Belton car collision passes out and dies

BELTON, TexasKWTX)- A 61-year-old Moody man collapsed and died in a two-vehicle collision in Belton.

The accident involving a white Nissan Frontier and a silver Ford F-150 became known shortly after 5 p.m.

After the collision, the cars were moved from Main Street to the parking lot of Christ the King Catholic Church at 210 E. 24th Avenue.

After the arrival of the police, one of the participants in the accident, a 61-year-old man from Moody, lost consciousness and died at the scene.

An officer and paramedics performed cardiopulmonary resuscitation at the scene but were unable to resuscitate the man, police said.
