What do you need to know

There’s a long way to go in the C-USA season, but Saturday’s game could be a turning point for the two teams that had the best start in the league.

FAU leads the league 5-0 and beat UNT 5-1. Every other team in the league has at least three conference game losses.

UNT can go into sole possession of the first place with a win. FAU would have a huge advantage over UNT if they could win the season series, go 6-0 and have head-to-head tiebreaks.

This game will most likely come down to which team will be able to impose their will in terms of style. UNT plays at an incredibly slow pace and is ranked third in the country, averaging 53.6 points per game.

The FAU loves to get up and down and shoot 3. UNT did an amazing job limiting the Owls from the perimeter in the first encounter. The FAA went just 3 on 23 from deep.

The chances of the FAU hitting the ball so badly seem slim again.

UNT will have to play better offensively and avoid the scoring droughts that have plagued him from time to time this season. FAU closed the first meeting of the teams with a score of 13:0.
