The National Transportation Safety Board is investigating the fatal plane crash in Yoakum on Tuesday afternoon.
The NTSB said the plane that crashed was a Piper PA-46-350P, also known as the Piper Malibu.
The details of the incident are not yet known, but Victoria’s Lawyer at least one person is reported to have died.
The plane reportedly landed at 462 County Road and 318 Farm-to-Market Road, near Yoakum City Hospital.
Yoakum is located in Lavaca and DeWitt counties, about 45 minutes north of Victoria.
