Tickets are $40 at cupids.org.
9. Climbing the Seton Austin Marathon

Hear us out: we’re not suggesting you run a marathon this month if you haven’t already signed up and prepared for it. We suggest something less heavy on the body: observation. There is something special about watching a group of people run effectively fulfilling a dream, goal or bet that is truly worth it.
The race starts at 7 am on February 19th. Come back then or in an hour or so – it takes time to run 13.1 or 26.2 miles. Cheer on the runners at various locations downtown, or walk near the finish line at 11th Street and South Congress Avenue. We promise you will be inspired.
