Police: 1 in 3 College Station murder suspects in custody

COLLEGE STATION, TX (KBTX) – One of three suspects in the January 3 murder of a College Station resident is in custody, College Station police say.

The police issued a warrant for the murder of 17-year-old Sensir Solomon. On Tuesday afternoon, at 5:15 pm, he was arrested with the assistance of the Hempstead Police Department.

Rashawn Jones, 26, was shot and killed on the 400 block of Southwest Parkway in a targeted home invasion, police said. CCTV video shows three masked men with firearms knocking on the door and rushing in.

Investigators say they are still gathering information on the other two suspects and are asking anyone with information about Jones’ murder to call the CSPD at 979-764-3600.
