The St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Office has confirmed that all victims of the early evening shooting at Fort Pierce were adults, according to WPBF-TV.
The shooting occurred at 5:20 p.m. at Ealous Ellis Park during the MLK Auto Show and Family Fun Day, which the sheriff’s office said more than 1,000 people attended, according to WPBF-TV.
“Several people were shot. Based on our initial investigation here at the scene, there was some kind of disagreement between the two parties, and unfortunately they decided to resolve it with guns,” said St. Lucie County Deputy Governor Brian Hester.
