Police are investigating a possible shooting due to road rage in far northeast Dallas on Monday afternoon.

Dallas police are investigating a shooting in far northeast Dallas that they believe was the result of a road rage incident.

Shortly after 12:30 p.m., officers were sent to respond to gunfire in the 13700 block of the North Central Expressway, east of Midpark Road.

The officers found one injured man who was shot dead. He was taken to the hospital and his condition is stable, police said. Investigators believe the shooting was due to a traffic accident. On Monday evening, the police said that there was no information about the suspicious vehicle.
