Police said the man suspected of shooting is in his 50s and may be the mother’s boyfriend.
Houston police are now looking for the perpetrator of the attack. They said he was in his 50s and could be his mother’s boyfriend.
Investigators were called to the scene at the corner of Idaho and Cullen Streets at 10 p.m. When the police arrived on the scene, they found the dead mother in the motel room. Her 20-year-old daughter was shot in the stomach.
Police said the man who remained in the room with them was the shooter.
“The man who was at this location left on foot in the area,” HPD Lieutenant J.P. Horelika said. “We don’t have much information about him at this time.”
They have a vague description, so they ask anyone with information to call the Crime Squad or the Houston Police.
Nothing is reported about the state of the shot daughter.
