Police said three people were killed and two injured in a shooting at the Far North Dallas apartment complex.

Three people were killed and two injured in a shooting in the Far North of Dallas on Friday morning, police said.

Around 4:30 a.m., officers were sent to an apartment complex in the 8500 Lazy Acres Circle block off Spring Valley Road, where they found five people shot to death in a back parking lot.

Police spokeswoman Christine Lowman said two men and one woman died at the scene.

Of the two remaining men taken to the hospital, one was stable and the other was in critical condition, Lowman said.

No further information about what led to the shooting or possible suspects was immediately available, but Lowman said detectives believe “the shooting is not random.”
