In the clip that was widely shared on social media, Washington is shown entering the restaurant and pointing what appears to be a gun at the customers, demanding money from them. As he turned to leave, one of the patrons pulled out a gun and fired several shots at Washington. The client then returned all the stolen money to other visitors. Authorities said all of the clients, including the shooter, fled the scene before police arrived. No one else in the restaurant was hurt.

Investigators also found that Washington had no real weapons. “The suspected burglar … entered the store wearing a mask and gloves,” Police Lieutenant R. Wilkens told KHOU 11 last week. “He had a gun, maybe an airsoft gun, or maybe a small BB gun.”
