The popular restaurant Tyler is closing after 23 years of operation. Traditions announced via a Facebook post on Monday morning that the restaurant is closed on Sunday.
The longtime restaurant posted the following message to the community:
“After 23 years of service to the Tyler community, we have made the difficult decision to close Traditions on January 8, 2023. We have enjoyed serving our guests over the years and consider it a privilege and a blessing to have counted so many as part of our lives for so long. We enjoyed seeing your faces regularly and we are grateful that we have made more friends than we can count. We hope you stay in touch and can find us at Corner Bakery Café, our other restaurant in Tyler, where we will continue to operate as usual.
“A big thank you to the families, organizations, schools and businesses that have trusted in Tradition for their catering needs. We enjoyed being part of the important events in your life that make our community strong.
“Most of all, we thank our loyal employees who have become family to us. You have made the Traditions special to so many people. We are eternally grateful to you.
Kandy, Robert and Kristin Owens”.
Traditions boasted upscale canteen-style meals at family prices. Judging by the comments on the post, your favorite restaurant will be greatly missed.
