Teenagers arrested in Guadalupe County after a man and son were killed in a driveway to a Central Texas home.

SAN ANTONIO Authorities have arrested two teenagers after a man and his son were found dead in their driveway to their Central Texas home over the weekend.

Kyler Nathaniel Allen and Jordan Eric Ostrander, 19, were taken into custody Monday morning and charged with the death penalty for multiple murders, the Llano County Sheriff’s Office said.

They are accused of shooting 38-year-old Preston Wesling and his 14-year-old son Evan in a house on the 100 block of Airport Road in Tow, a town near Lake Buchanan.

LCSO deputies answered a house call about multiple gunshot victims before 5 am Saturday. The Wesslings were pronounced dead at the scene.

A few hours earlier, around 1:00 a.m., LCSO representatives said they had received a call about several shots fired in the same area. Deputies find out if the incidents are related. The motive was not disclosed.

The LCSO said the suspects were taken into custody by DPS troops, Texas Rangers and representatives of the Guadeloupe County Sheriff’s Office.

They are being held at the Guadalupe County Jail.

Evan Wessling was a freshman at Burnet High School in the Burnet Consolidated Independent School District, Facebook officials said. after.

On Sunday, BCISD released the following statement:

Howard Wessling, Preston’s father and Evan’s grandfather, told KKSAN that they rarely see crime as it is a rural community.

“Preston was the most generous person in the world and Evan was a good kid,” Howard Wessling told the TV channel. “Today we had a lot of friends and community come and it gave me a chance to lean.”
