Texas police looking for missing teen who may have been kidnapped

Police in Seline, north of Dallas, are looking for a missing girl who they say is with someone who puts the girl in grave or imminent danger, according to an Amber Alert sent out Thursday, Jan. 5. The girl, Alexis Vidler, is 17 years old. , she was last seen in the 2000 block of Tapadero Lane in Selina when she went missing on Monday 2 January.

It is not clear why the Amber Warning was issued three days after Vidler’s disappearance. According to the warning, she is 5 feet 5 inches tall with brown hair and brown eyes. Police have not released what she was last wearing. The Dallas Morning News reports that law enforcement initially said she voluntarily left the home she was staying in, but that voluntary status has since changed to imply that Vidler may have been abducted.

The suspect was last seen driving a 2022 Mitsubishi Mirage with Texas license plate RYT5102. A spokesman for the Selina Police Department told the Dallas Morning News that there is no immediate threat to the public at this time. Police did not release any further details about Vidler’s possible kidnapping case, but planned to release it later on Thursday.
