Texas track and field star Sha’Karri Richardson stepped off an American Airlines flight.

American track and field star and Dallas native Shakarri Richardson was kicked off an American Airlines flight after an argument with a flight attendant.

Richardson shared the video she filmed on her official Instagram account on Saturday. The footage begins with Richardson speaking directly into the camera. “Flights are not working today. Vacation time,” she says to the camera seconds before a flight attendant appears next to Richardson, apparently trying to get her to stop using her phone.

“I’m recording me, but you jumped into my video, so I caught you… you’re bothering me at this point, so I think you should stop,” Richardson tells a flight attendant.

Another flight attendant can then be heard saying, “You can stop recording now,” to which Richardson replies, “I’m not going to stop recording because I was filming a video for myself… and this video will show what you’re doing,” she continues. Richardson says she was eventually taken off the flight.

“We have re-accommodated the customer on a later flight and a member of our team has reached out to find out more,” an American Airlines spokesperson told NBC News.

Richardson also posted another longer video on Saturday, which she filmed after the confrontation. “It’s just that he spoke to me like that, I would definitely have listened to the instructions, but the way he spoke to me was very unprofessional … his hands were in my face,” says Richardson, apparently talking to another passenger. -camera.

“Tell me I would be wrong to sue @americanair,” Richardson wrote in the caption to the second video. “This man threatened not only me, but also an innocent bystander who just wanted to take a picture with me,” she added.
