The Black Cowboy Museum in Rosenberg fills an important gap

Former tightrope walker and country music artist Larry Callies has always been a cowboy at heart, but growing up he rarely saw any depiction of black cowboys, despite his rich history. So in 2017 he founded the Black Cowboy Museum, which features a collection of artefacts, memorabilia and news clippings dedicated to people who were once blotted out of the picture of the Western way of life.
