The return of a charity golf tournament with famous athletes

Guest celebrity Classic featured by Choctaw Casinos and Resorts returns this spring. The tournament will once again benefit two children’s nonprofits, the Momentous Institute and First Tee Greater Dallas and First Tee Fort Worth.

This unique PGA TOUR Champions golf tournament features top athletes and artists as well as game legends from PGA TOUR Champions. It will take place April 21-23 at Las Colinas Country Club.

The tournament is unique in professional golf, featuring 73 PGA TOUR champions (aged 50+) and 40 celebrities playing in individual events with a prize pool of $2.5 million. The second annual event brings together celebrities and PGA TOUR champions in the same groups over 54 holes over three days of competition. All three days of the tournament will be broadcast by the GOLF TV channel.

This year’s attendees include Brain Urlacher, Chicago Bears Hall of Famer linebacker, and Jerry Kelly, 11-time PGA TOUR Champions. Other notable players joining the competition include John Lester, John Smoltz, Emmitt Smith, DeMarcus Ware, Greg Maddux and reigning champion Mardy Fish. Celebrities will play under a modified Stableford scoring format.

Last year, PGA TOUR champions who entered the tournament included 2022 winner Scott Parel and Golf Major champions John Daley, Retief Goosen, Mark Calcavecchia, Ernie Els and Vijay Singh.

This year, fans can get free admission to the stadium through the support and partnership of key sponsors, Choctaw Casinos & Resorts, Energy Transfer and Invited.
