Two of Tyler’s men, accused of killing a man during a house robbery last May, will now stand trial this spring.
Dakevian Beniot Scroggins, 27, and Zachcheus Dunn, 23, are charged with capital murder in connection with the shooting of 33-year-old Christopher Frank Aiglebiger on May 13, 2021.
Scroggins and Dunn appeared before the 7th Circuit Court in a pre-trial hearing on Friday. None of the men was made a single offer of a guilty plea.
The state chose not to seek the death penalty for both Scroggins and Dunn. According to the court, their next hearing is scheduled for February 23.
