For those who live or work (or both) at the University of Texas on the Austin campus, HEB can now help when cravings for Whataburger honey oil or queso green chili incubation come up.
On Tuesday, January 24, UT Austin announced that students, faculty, and staff can have HEB delivered to campus through a new partnership. Same day delivery and delivery time and location planning will be available through Favor, a delivery company acquired by HEB in 2018.
“Being able to offer this service is a great resource for students who don’t have time to shop or who don’t have off-campus transportation, helping them easily access the groceries and supplies they need,” said Soncia Ragins-Lilli, Vice President the president. president of student affairs and dean of students, in issue.
Parking on campus can be challenging, so Favor drivers will park at one of four designated locations: Jester Circle, Jester Dormitory, Kinsolving Dormitory, or Bass Concert Hall. The buyers will then agree with the driver on the exact pick-up location on campus.
HEB makes all products normally available through its website or app available to UT Austin students, including meats, fresh produce, household (or dorm storage), health and wellness products, and more.
Over the years, HEB has donated over $6.6 million to UT Austin research and other programs.
