UTSA star quarterback Frank Harris engaged in early 2023

UTSA standout defenseman Frank Harris started his year off with a bang after announcing his engagement proposal to his now fiancee Taryn Travieso. The athlete shared the news on Twitter on Monday, January 2, writing “SHE SAID YES!!!!”

Harris celebrating engagement following the award-winning 2022 football season with the Roadrunners. He was named US Conference MVP after leading UTSA to consecutive conference championships.

The six-year-old finished 2022 with 4,063 yards, 32 touchdowns and nine interceptions. He scored 602 yards and nine touchdowns to boot. In December, Harris announced, along with former Bexar County Judge Nelson Wolf, Bexar County Judge-elect Peter Sakai, and former Texas State Senator John T. Montford, that he would return to UTSA to lead the Roadrunners for another season in 2023. .

Harris, a redshirted high school student, has one more year of eligibility left in his college career. Next season, UTSA moves to the American Athletic Conference in 2023 after 10 seasons in the Conference USA.

Many people in the engagement post congratulated Harris, including UTSA head coach Jeff Traylor. He said, “Congratulations. The best recruiting job you’ve ever done.”
