The Tarrant County Homeless Coalition (TCHC) needs 500 volunteers Jan. 26 to cover Fort Worth, Arlington, Grande Prairie and northeast Tarrant County in its annual point-in-time survey of people living in unprotected settings.
Since 2005, a time point count has been conducted in January to give an idea of what overnight homelessness looks like for every community in the country.
The information gathered during the 6 pm to midnight count will better help TCHC understand what resources and strategies are needed to end homelessness.
Volunteers can register as individuals or form a team. Compulsory training will be held for all volunteers online and on January 26th.
