SHREVEPORT, Louisiana. A storm system over the Rocky Mountains late Friday evening is forecast to bring rain to ArkLaTex on Saturday afternoon and Saturday evening.

The amount of rain is expected to be fairly light compared to the last two storms, less than an inch.
In addition, severe weather is not expected, according to the Storm Prediction Center.

Saturday starts cloudy with lows in the 50s.

By afternoon it warms up to +70, the sky is mostly cloudy.

Showers and occasional thunderstorms are possible in the evening.

Rain continues into Saturday evening as a weak cold front moves in slowly.

The rain is forecast to last until Sunday morning.

Precipitation and a cold front leave ArcLaTeks by noon.

This should leave sunlight for the rest of the day.
