You won? 2 winning $40,000 Mega Millions tickets sold somewhere in Texas

DALLAS (KDAF) — Well, it looks like the country’s wallets will be at the ready to play for the nearly $1 billion Mega Millions jackpot on Friday, as no one in the country hit the $785 million jackpot on Tuesday, but that hasn’t stopped some. lower level prizes from those won.

The Texas Lottery reports that after the January 3 draw, 2 Tier 3 Mega Millions prize tickets worth $40,000 were sold across the state of Texas. These tickets were able to match four out of five winning numbers along with the Mega Ball to take home a $40,000 payout.

Those winning numbers were 25, 29, 33, 41, and 44 with Mega Ball 18. These two tickets chose the Megaplier option to quadruple their original $10,000 win, while the other two tickets won by not choosing this option.

The next draw is set for January 6 with a $940 million jackpot with a cash value of $483.5 million; isn’t it a great way to start the new year?
