Is President Obama about to throw Secretary of State and one-time presidential rival Hillary Clinton under a bus over the Benghazi embassy attack that left Ambassador Chris Stevens, Tyrone Woods, Glen Doherty and Sean Smith dead? He has been pretty quiet on what really happened and when he was apprised and what he knew. I suspect we will hear more about this during the foreign policy presidential debate. The House is holding hearings on the attack and Darrell Issa (R-CA) seems to be building a case against Hillary Clinton. The State Department said it never “concluded that the consulate attack in Libya stemmed from protests over an American-made video ridiculing Islam, the AP reports.
This raises questions on why the Obama administration, specifically Susan Rice, claimed the video played a role in the attack. Seems like Hillary Clinton will be left holding the bag. That then begs the question, will Bill Clinton continue to campaign for the president?
